Roger Silen - President, Founder, CEO

Roger is a serial entrepreneur and accomplished foreign exchange currency trader. He opened his first digital currency account in 2004 and has been engaged in the space for over a decade.


He has a real passion for working on projects and ventures that have the potential to leave a lasting impact on people from around the world.


He is the founder and President of Current International LLC, a forex education and training company with global expansion set for late 2018.


Roger is a visionary entrepreneur and believes one of his greatest assets is his ability to envision what could be and then bring together the right individuals, talents and skill sets to make this vision a reality.


Ryan Millar - Vice President

Ryan is a well versed entrepreneur and business professional with extensive experience in the direct sales industry. 


Ryan has had roles in marketing and operations for businesses and brands which generate over $1B annually.


His personal entrepreneurial projects have produced millions in sales and had him lead, mentor and oversee 900 people. 


He has been a part of advisory boards for emerging brands and consulted for many direct sales businesses.


Ryan is known for his innovative and creative ideas, leadership and sales training and cohesive team building.


Chris Meeds - Chief Operations Officer

Chris has a diverse background in mixed corporate and entrepreneurial realms. His passion for leading and growing his people has lead to him teaching dozens of leadership and coaching classes to emerging business leaders.

 

Chris has lead his teams to surpassing 50M in sales annually and has been responsible for the management of those revenues.


His operational responsibilities were to a team of over 900 associates spanning Western Canada. Disciplined, structured and driven to succeed Chris is passionate about growing companies ethically and through world class leadership.


Trevor Millar - Chief Distribution Officer

Trevor is a social-entrepreneur with management and business development experience in corporate hospitality, entertainment, and technology fields, most recently blazing trails with a cutting-edge venture in addiction therapy.


Having a passion and skill for moving people and systems beyond that which has been holding them back, Millar's leadership and communication style inspires thoughtful action beyond seeming obstacles.


Upon realizing the potential of the blockchain (which lead to a few sleepless nights), his focus and mission have been dedicated towards unleashing the benefits of this technology in the world.


In it he sees an unprecedented tool, a gift to humanity, which can be used to end many of the systemic than personal woes we face. 

Jon Silen - Chief Financial Officer

Jon is an accomplished, versatile professional with extensive business and operational management experience across several sectors.


He has held P&L responsibility for businesses in excess of $75M annually and led teams of up to 500 employees. Jon holds dual degrees in Business Administration and Management, and has also completed the Canadian Securities Course along with the Harvard Business Review’s Manage-Mentor program.

Highly analytical and skilled at managing multiple strategic priorities, he is known for uncompromising integrity and viewed as a trustworthy advisor and partner.


Andrew Pancholi - Chief Investment Officer

Andrew consults banks and financial institutions including some of the largest trading operations in the world. He is renowned for his expertise in cycles, not only in markets but also in Geopolitical events. 


In 2015 he was invited by NYU London to present a TED X talk on recurring cycles not only in history and stock markets, but also in personal lives.


In January 2017 Andrew was the subject of an in depth video, primarily for professional portfolio managers, with Real Vision Television. It covers the cycles coming into play in 2017-18 and how they impact equity, commodity and currency markets.

He is also a regular contributor to Traders World Magazine. He is CEO and founder of CyclesAnalysis.com

Michael Terpin - Transform Group

Michael Terpin has more than 25 years of PR agency management. He has directly supervised many renowned PR campaigns of the digital media era, including early-stage PR for America Online, Earthlink, Jupiter, Motley Fool, Match.com, and Shapeways, as well as full-service campaigns with established brands, including Alpine, AT&T, Diamond Multimedia, Fujitsu, JBL, Konami, Marriott, Memorex, Philips, Rackspace, Red Herring, and TEAC.


In the blockchain sector, Terpin has led the PR efforts for more than 150 blockchain companies and foundations, including some of the leading token crowdsales.


Client successes include the launches of Aeternity, Augur, Bancor, Ethereum, Factom, Gnosis, Golem Network, Lisk, MaidSafe, Qtum, and Tether, as well as ongoing campaigns for Bittrex, Counterparty, Dash, Eos, Kraken, NEM, Neo, Storj and Shapeshift.

He currently heads up the ICO investment committee for Alphabit Fund, a $300 million digital currency fund registered in the Caymans, and advises numerous blockchain companies and foundations, including Bancor & ICOBox.


Prior to his exclusive focus on blockchain, Terpin founded Marketwired, one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive international newswires, for which he was a finalist in the 2000 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.


Originally known as Internet Wire and funded by Sequoia Capital and Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Marketwired was acquired in April 2006 by Toronto-based media company, CCN Matthews, and is now owned by NASDAQ, which acquired it in February 2016 for $200 million.


Terpin holds an MFA in Creative Writing from SUNY at Buffalo and a dual Bachelor Degree in Newspaper Journalism and English Literature from Syracuse University. He serves as an advisor to SU’s Newhouse School of Public Communications, where he was inducted into its prestigious Wall of Fame. He is also an advisor to the Consumer Electronics Show, where he helps programs the blockchain content, including for CES Asia.


Enzo Villani - Transform Group

Enzo has over 25 years of high-impact strategy, brand, financial communications and merger and acquisition experience. He has raised over $500 million to develop and build strategic companies and business lines that are innovative and sector leading.


He recently became Managing Director of the Transform Group. Prior to Transform, he was CEO of Equities.com, the world’s largest middle-market and emerging growth company content publisher.


Enzo was Managing Director for the NASDAQ stock exchange, where he co-founded NASDAQ Global Corporate Solutions Group, who recently acquired Marketwire and services more than 18,000 corporate clients today.


After spending six years at NASDAQ, he co-founded and became Chief Strategy Officer for the corporate communications investment fund SAGE Holdings, where he completed a $200 million strategic M&A roll-up of five Tier-1 communications firms, including DF King & Co. Enzo has spoken on financial communications, marketing and the capital markets across the world.


He has lectured at Clarkson University and the State University of New York on Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Marketing. He holds an MBA from Cornell University.

Christine Duhaime - Duhaime Law

Christine has a specialized counter-terrorist financing and anti-money laundering law practice and is a Certified Financial Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, a US certification.


In that capacity, she advises on financial crime compliance which includes counter-terrorist financing and anti-money laundering law, sanctions compliance for financial institutions, casinos, money services businesses, securities brokerages, law firms and for emerging financial services such as digital financial services, including digital currencies, Bitcoin and ICOs.


She is a frequent keynote speaker in tech, AI and law, having been invited to speak, among others, before the United Nations UNICTRAL on Artificial Intelligence Law and Blockchain Law, the Financial Action Task Force on technology and anti-money laundering law and the Asian Development Bank on financial inclusion.

MINING ADVISORY COUNCIL

Adrain Rothwell - President,
CEO, Kore Mining

Mr. Rothwell has worked in the mining industry for over 25
years and is experienced in project and industry analysis and
valuation, managing large teams and diligent oversight of
successful projects.


Mr. Rothwell is currently Chair of the Audit Committee and Director of Fireweed Zinc Ltd. Formerly Director, Strategy at Goldcorp Inc. 


He also acted as CFO for NuLegacy Gold Corp, MBMI Resources Inc., Garson Gold Corp, Centurion Minerals
Ltd and is a Chartered Professional Accountant in both
Australia and Canada, articling at PricewaterhouseCoopers
LLP. He holds a BA in Economics from Macquarie University.


James Hynes - Chief Technical Officer, Kore Mining

James Hynes is a geological engineer, having worked as head of exploration for Lafarge Northwest Division and serves as Board member for various companies in the mining sector.


With over 15 years in the mining and metals sector, his experience includes preliminary resource identification, resource evaluation and testing, reserve calculations, and financial analysis.


Mr. Hynes is a founder of Reperio Resources Corp. Mr. Hynes has overseen and participated in the technical aspects of the company, including exploration programs, commissioning reports, property acquisitions, environmental and mine planning, technical presentations and corporate communications.


Mr. Hynes holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (1999) specializing in geological and geotechnical engineering from the University of New Brunswick.


Paul Johnston - Vice President of Exploration,
Kore Mining

Mr Johnston is a professional geologist with 30 years experience in mining and exploration. Currently, Paul serves
as a Director at Nicola Mining Inc.


His commitment to discovery and development of mineral deposits began in 1987 as a mine geologist at Hemlo Gold Mines. He held various international technical and management roles at Teck Resources Limited between 1998 and 2015.


He is known for developing and improving the performance of exploration teams and has a track record of resolving geologic problems and devising successful exploration programs in a collaborative environment. Paul is a registered professional geologist (P.Geo), holds a Ph.D in Geological Sciences and a M.Sc. in Mineral Exploration from Queen’s University, and a B.Sc in Geology from Carleton University.


Alan Ahlgren - CPA, CA, BComm (Hons)

Alan brings over 30 years of experience to support Seatrend’s clients’ management and finance and accounting functions to help them to achieve excellence, strengthen corporate governance and build a base for long term sustainability and growth. With experience that crosses industry sectors, including mining (early stage exploration and development through producing companies), airport operations, financial services and technology, he has re-engineered and simplified accounting reporting functions, enhanced the quality and professionalism of financial reporting and synergized corporate investor-focussed branding across various platforms. Alan has a reputation for setting high standards, mentoring teams to maximize their skills and performance and acting as a confident corporate ambassador.

Alan’s most recent experience includes several years as Chief Financial Officer of public and private junior mining companies and Financial Reporting and Compliance Officer at a major gold producer. Responsibilities ranged from technical accounting issues, acting as the Company’s sole representative at investor conferences in Asia and North America to being a key participant in the acquisition of First Coal by Xstrata Coal. Prior to that, Alan was a primary resource for Sarbanes-Oxley/MI 52-109 internal control reviews and remediation for several Fortune 1000 companies in Canada and the United States.

Alan obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1983 and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.


Randall Thompson

Randall is an experienced mining executive with over 25 years working in the Canadian, Australian and Middle East mining industry.


Randall has proven successful leadership at all levels of operations and projects with a strong team commitment and lead from the front attitude. 


Strategic long term planning and safety focus that successfully delivers on forecasted goals. Past roles include CEO and COO of Huckleberry Mines Ltd. (a joint venture between Mitsubishi Materials Corp. and Imperial Metals), Project Director at Equinox Minerals, General Manager of Capstone Mining's Minto Mine, and Project Manager for Placer Dome's Campbell Mine.

Joshua Rosenblatt - Frost Brown Todd LLC
Blockchain & SEC Compliance

As co-chair of Frost Brown Todd's Blockchain and Digital Currency team, Gray regularly advises clients on the regulatory and business issues arising when cryptographic computing intersects with U.S. securities laws. In addition to serving as U.S. counsel for recent initial coin offerings launched from foreign jurisdictions, he has established several new hedge funds specializing in tokenized assets.

Prior to joining the firm, Gray served as Senior Vice President for Congressional Affairs of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. He has worked with foreign companies growing the regional economy through direct investment in the U.S., while assisting American enterprises with expanding their global footprint. Alan Cohn advises clients from a range of industries on cybersecurity, blockchain, and distributed ledger technology issues, and other national security and emerging technology issues.


Mr. Cohn is co-chair of the firm’s Blockchain and Digital Currency practice.
